"Prairie Voices...lent their exultant and hope-filled youthful voices to Williams'
Exsultate Justi from Empire of the Sun. This was a welcome furlough...the
singers in particularly fine voice, bouncing along to Lee's vibrant direction"

Brandon Tri-High choir on Sunday evening at First Presbyterian Church.  The

"Because of me it was a nutty show; the beautiful sound and high energy of Prairie Voices was the frosting on the fruit cake. It was an honour to share the stage with you and your choir."
Al Simons, Performer
"To me they're the wave of the future for choral music.  They're youthful, energetic, enthusiastic and they're involved.  They love what they're doing."
Sid Robinovitch, Manitoban composer
Prairie Voices defy the...steryotype that singing in a choir isn't cool...If audience reaction is any indication, the ensemble's passion does come through - rendering another pop culture steryotype useless.

The WSO on Priaire Voices: “We’ve had them perform with us a number of times…and based on past experiences with them, it was an easy choice,” says Stemler, pointing to last year’s wildly successful Christmas concerts with Steve Bell and Mike Janzen as an example.

“Prairie Voices brought all the heat and exotic sounds of Cuba to the hall...they exuded a liveliness and sense of fun that was infectious...They gave it their all and did so with humour and joy. The audience erupted after this performance and gave them a standing ovation.”

“Local ensemble Prairie Voices were in particularly fine form, belting out arrangements of Angels We Have Heard on High and a rousing Carol of the Bells ...Artistic director Kristel Peters took a well-deserved bow after leading the choir in an a cappella We Wish You a Merry Christmas, sung with crystal-clear diction.”

Prairie Voices has had the good fortune to have many kind things said about us - both in professional reviews and personal correspondences. A few personal comments have been featured with the speaker's permission below.

“...And Prairie Voices? YIKES! How can we bottle that excitement for what they’re doing and infuse it into ourselves. My goosebumps had goosebumps.”

“My wife and I wish to tell you how thrilled we were to hear Prairie Voices at Sharon Temple. They were absolutely magnificent!!!...You introduced us to music that was unfamiliar to our ears. It was wonderful!!! It was like trying ice cream for the first time.”
Robert Heron
Keswick, ON
“…last night I did not see a fantastic conductor standing in front of a fantastic choir but rather an ensemble with all but one of the fantastic performers facing the audience. The energy that flowed between EVERYONE on stage was incredible - the directing was so good that it became part of the “dance” - the ultimate experience.”
